11th European Congress of Integrative Psychotherapy

On October 8, 2023, the 11th European Congress of Integrative Psychotherapy was solemnly closed.

The theme of the 2023 Congress was “Human Rights, Connection, and Diversity in Psychotherapy.”.

The congress was held as a result of the cooperation of the European Wide Accreditation Organization, the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy, and the European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute – EAPTI International Academy of Mental Health and Integrative Psychotherapy.

Psychotherapists and representatives of psychotherapeutic organizations from 15 different European countries visited Georgia as part of the congress.

The following panels were presented at the congress: 1. Social Responsibility 2. Psychotrauma 3. Supervision

The Congress has a historical significance for the development of psychotherapy in the region, as it was held for the first time in the Caucasus region in the Georgian form. The European Scientific Congress is a turning point for the integration of psychotherapy with European standards and the worthy appearance of the Georgian flag in world scientific circles.

We are pleased to have created a space for interaction, dialogue and collaboration for Georgian and European specialists, which will have a long-term beneficial impact on the implementation of high educational, clinical and ethical standards in psychotherapy.
