Student Scientific Conference: „Autonomy of Psychotherapy”

On May 16, 2026, the 5th Student Scientific Conference of the International Academy of Integrated Psychotherapy was held at Tbilisi State University: "Autonomy in Psychotherapy: Theory, Practice and Professional Identity".

The conference is annual and aims to popularize modern scientific perspectives among young people, promote professional dialogue, and encourage research activities in the field of psychotherapy in Georgia.

The main theme of this year's conference was Psychotherapy Autonomy – Theory, Practice, and Professional Identity.

This topic is particularly relevant today for the development of modern Georgian psychotherapy and its integration with international standards.

Within the framework of the conference, participants of the European Accredited Program in Integrated Psychotherapy presented scientific reports covering both theoretical and practical and research areas.

The event aims to promote not only knowledge sharing, but also academic collaboration, critical thinking, and support for future professionals in the field of psychotherapy.
