Cooperation with the European Psychotherapy Association EAP
The International Academy of Mental Health and Integrative Psychotherapy is the only holder from Georgia of the highest educational standard established by the European Association of Psychotherapy - EAPTI. The Academy participates in the committee activities of the European Psychotherapy Association, including in the process of revising the Pan-European Framework for Psychotherapy Education and Practice. The priority direction of the Academy is the complete integration of the Georgian psychotherapeutic educational space with the European standard.
The European Association of Psychotherapy is an organization with consultative status of the Council of Europe, which ensures the introduction of a unified standard of psychotherapy as an independent profession in Europe. It unites the representatives of 41 countries across Europe, including Georgia, in the form of a national umbrella organization, the Georgian Federation of Psychotherapy.
The European Association of Psychotherapy establishes the competence framework of the European psychotherapist, on the basis of which it produces the European Certificate of Psychotherapy - ECP.
The association also establishes the criteria of scientific validity of psychotherapeutic modalities on the basis of which it confirms or rejects the validity of psychotherapeutic processes. Grants the status of a European wide accreditation organization (such as EAIP, EAGT, EATA, EABP, EFCPP) and others and coordinates the activities of European wide accreditation organizations in all valid processes of psychotherapy.
Cooperation with the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy EAIP
The International Academy of Mental Health and Integrative Psychotherapy is the only full accredited representative of the European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP) in Georgia.
EAIP is a European-wide accreditation organization that unites under the European Association for Psychotherapy and guides integrated psychotherapy in Europe, conducting the accreditation process for integrated psychotherapy training programs for EAIP organizations.
The EAIP was established in 1993 with the aim of promoting the establishment of the highest standards of clinical and ethical practice of integrative psychotherapy in Europe.
The organization represents the European Society for Integrative Psychotherapy to national, European and international associations, other professional bodies and governments across Europe.
Cooperation with the National Umbrella Organization - Georgian Federation of Psychotherapy Dendroni
The International Academy of Mental Health and Integrative Psychotherapy is based on the ideological heritage of the Georgian Federation of Psychotherapy, Dendroni, shares its goals and values and continues the pan-European educational standard introduced by it in Georgia.
The Academy under the National Umbrella of Psychotherapy is an important part of the National Psychotherapy Society. With the right to vote, he participates in the committee activities of the Federation, is involved in the process of harmonization of the pan-European guidelines and standards of psychotherapeutic education and practice, and ensures the introduction of high clinical and ethical practice of psychotherapeutic practice in Georgia.
